BBC World War One AT Home Tour at the Air Waves in Portrush

September 10, 2014

Courtesy of the Northern Ireland War Memorial at the BBC World War One At Home Tour at the Air Waves in Portrush, visitors stepped into a First World War photographic studio, complete with period camera and props. They learned about how important having a portrait photograph taken was. The museum photographer and his costumed assistants helped members of the public get into character by trying on period costume, uniform and props before posing for an authentic period style complimentary portait.

Pictured are Bryan Rutledge, Museum Photographer, with Elizabeth Levins from L'Derry and her children, Alice, Patrick and George.
