Lisnabreeny Rath (Ring Fort)Starting to feel a little bit like Joe Mahon from UTV's 'Mahon's Way' exploring the NI countryside after photographing this well preserved rath or ring fort in the Castlereagh Hills with the drone today. It is called Lisnabreeny Rath and is thought to have been built between 500 and 1000 AD. The rath is the highest point in the Castlereagh Hills in South Belfast. |
